Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacist Supervisor for our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy in Fairfield, NJ. You will supervise staff, direct daily workflow, hire and evaluate, coach, and ensure adherence to policies to deliver accurate prescription processing and exceptional customer service.

You will oversee roughly 100 employees with about 25 reports per supervisor, manage performance reviews, and drive improvements across the department in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to evaluate work and process flow to ensure optimal efficiency.
• 1+ years prior team leadership experience.
• Ability to commit to the rotating shift schedule shown above.
• Proven experience in a high intensity, fast paced production environment.
• Proven ability to effectively manage people and provide team leadership.
• Licensed Pharmacist in New Jersey
• Ability to work 100% onsite at our facility in Fairfield, NJ

Responsibilities

• Monitor workflow and production measures for timely and accurate dispensing of patient orders.
• Collaborate with the manager to resolve issues per guidelines.
• Participate in the Quality Improvement Program by monitoring accuracy, productivity, and customer service and coach accordingly.
• Monitor daily production volume and report to management and quality team.
• Provide training, coaching, counseling, and motivation to staff.
• Hold regular meetings to discuss process improvements and training updates.
• Provide coaching to staff to improve performance, support growth, and administer corrective action as needed.
