Job summary

Martin’s Point Health Care seeks a Pharmacist Supervisor of Mail Order Pharmacy to lead a pharmacist team, ensure safe dispensing, and coordinate scheduling and staffing. The role partners with the Pharmacy Manager to drive quality and regulatory compliance while maintaining high patient care standards.

You will oversee daily operations, mentor staff, and participate in quality initiatives, ensuring accurate dispensing and education for patients and providers across a busy mail-order setting.

Qualifications

• Pharm.D. or BS in Pharmacy with relevant clinic, mail order or retail setting.
• Current license to practice pharmacy in Maine.
• At least 3 years pharmacy operations experience.
• Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational leadership for the pharmacist team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality pharmacy operations.
• Coordinate pharmacist staffing and scheduling to ensure appropriate coverage and support operational needs.
• Conduct regular 1:1 meetings, providing feedback, identifying development opportunities, and supporting annual performance evaluations in collaboration with Pharmacy Manager.
• Promote consistent communication by ensuring pharmacists are informed of departmental priorities, operational changes, and organizational initiatives.
• Support onboarding, training, orientation, and competency development of pharmacists.
• Serve as the primary operational resource for pharmacist staff by facilitating workflow and resolving routine issues including customer service escalation.
• Maintain compliance with state Board of Pharmacy rules and accreditation standards.
