Job summary

Mercyhealth in Rockford, IL is seeking an experienced Pharmacist Supervisor to oversee clinical and operational aspects of our retail pharmacy network. You will lead staff development, mentor pharmacists and technicians, and drive consistency in pharmaceutical care practices across locations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Pharmacy program.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a professionally operating retail pharmacy and serves as a resource for other retail pharmacy partners.
• Staff primarily as a retail pharmacist but may work in other functions of the retail pharmacy operations.
• Is an expert retail pharmacist who relies on comprehensive knowledge and experience.
• Provides staff development and education in area of retail pharmacy.
• Takes ownership of one long-term retail pharmacy project assuring that the information and data are carried through to all the retail pharmacies.
• Participates in formulating retail pharmacy policies and procedures in the provision of pharmaceutical care.
• Maintains practice by ongoing professional literature review, continuing education and self-evaluation.
