Minimum Qualifications

1. Bachelor's Degree in pharmacy
2. Current state pharmacist licensure in good standing
3. Ability to handle stressful situations
4. Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction)

Desired Qualifications

1. One year of retail experience
2. Second language proficiency (speaking, reading, and/or writing)

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customers' prescription needs with accuracy and professionalism
• Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care
• Ensure pharmacy compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including HIPAA
• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to pharmacy standards and dress code
• Develop knowledge of the local trade area and its customers and competitors
• Create a positive pharmacy department image through excellent service and friendliness
• Monitor stock levels, inventory, policies, record-keeping, security, sanitation, scheduling, equipment operation, pricing, and product recalls
• Maintain proper records and security for scheduled drugs, including controlled substances
• Follow procedures for handling pharmacy products from authorized sources
• Use accuracy tools effectively, including scanners and audit reports
• Ensure legal and company compliance through proper record-keeping
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and sanitary
• Handle product returns promptly and according to policy
• Maintain and organize equipment and reference materials
• Ensure proper signage and information displays
• Continuously broaden personal knowledge and skills
