Job summary

Nebraska Medicine is seeking an Inpatient Pharmacy Specialist for the OR at Bellevue Medical Center. This role emphasizes clinical pharmacy operations and collaboration with clinicians to deliver Serious Medicine and Extraordinary Care.

The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, first shift (M-F 5:30–14:00) with potential evenings, weekends, and holidays based on department needs.

Qualifications

• ACPE-accredited Doctor of Pharmacy degree required or a PharmD with 10 years of experience.
• Licensed (or eligible) in Nebraska or applicable jurisdiction.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an American Heart Association endorsed program.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest quality patient care and supervise pharmacy services in the assigned patient care area.
• Work proactively as a member of teams to ensure optimal pharmaceutical care and continuous quality improvement.

This is a great position for those who want to utilize their clinical skills and expertise in pharmacy operations. You will be well supported by other pharmacists and a dedicated team of technicians. This specific position will work at Bellevue Medical Center. (Also known as: Pharmacist, Inpatient Pharmacist) We partner with our physicians, nurses, and other hospital staff to provide the best Serious Medicine and Extraordinary Care available in the region. Pharmacist Specialist - Inpatient - OR Description

Provide the highest quality patient care. Supervise pharmacy services in assigned patient care area and ensure all medication related patient and care provider needs are met. Work proactively as a member of a team(s) to ensure the provision of optimal pharmaceutical care. Demonstrate a dedication to continual and constant quality improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) accredited Doctor of Pharmacy degree program OR possess a Bachelor or Master of pharmacy degree with 10 years of experience required.
• Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the State of Nebraska or jurisdiction in which pharmacy practice is conducted required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, must be from an American Heart Association (AHA) endorsed program, as deemed appropriate for patient facing roles and relevant to practice.

Preferred Qualifications

• American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) accredited postgraduate year one residency preferred.
• Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties (BPS) certification as deemed appropriate and relevant to practice preferred.
