Meijer is looking for a dedicated Staff Pharmacist at our Richmond, IN location. In this role, you will ensure patients receive the medications and care they need while mentoring pharmacy technicians. Qualifications

• Must practice pharmacy in a patient-focused environment.
• Experience in retail/community pharmacy preferred.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist certification is required except in Indiana.

As our Pharmacist, you play a personal role within your community by ensuring that your patients receive medication and care that they need. What You'll be Doing:

• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
• Hold pharmacy technicians accountable for results in an appropriate and effective manner and have a vision to expand and grow the pharmacy business.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
• Motivate team members to perform to their highest level.
• Be competent and knowledgeable of Meijer Policies and Procedures as well as state and federal laws.
• Have effective communication skills and be an agent of change.
• Have excellent organization skills with the ability to prioritize workload.
• Listen to the patient and resolve patient needs, providing customer service.
• In the absence of the pharmacist in charge, be responsible for the pharmacy operations.
• Perform and oversee (where allowed) clinical services, including immunizations.

What You Bring With You (Qualifications):

• Bachelor of Science Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy.
• Registered and licensed in the state of practice.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
• Retail/Community Practice experience.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy system, policies and procedures, and understanding of regulatory requirements in the state the unit operates.
