Job summary

Meijer Pharmacy in Evansville, IN seeks a licensed Pharmacist to join our team. You will fill prescriptions accurately, uphold patient-care standards, and mentor technicians while maintaining strong relationships with patients and leadership.

You will supervise daily operations in the pharmacist-in-charge absence and ensure adherence to company policies. The role requires a Doctorate of Pharmacy or equivalent licensure, active state registration, and a patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist degree required or equivalent licensure.
• Licensed in the state of practice with active registration.
• Immunization certification preferred where applicable.
• Fundamental knowledge of pharmacy policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
• Motivate team members to perform at their highest level.
• Ensure policies and procedures are followed and communicate changes clearly.
• In absence of the pharmacist in charge, oversee daily pharmacy operations.

• Fill prescriptions accurately.

• Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.

• Excellent organization skills with the ability to prioritize workload.
• Listen to the patient and resolve patient's needs.
• In the absence of the pharmacist in charge, will be responsible for the pharmacy operations.

What You Bring With You (Qualifications):

• Bachelor of Science Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy.
• Registered and licensed in the state of practice.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
• Working knowledge of pharmacy system, working knowledge of policies and procedures, understanding of regulatory in the state the unit operates.
