Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. is seeking a licensed pharmacist to implement Kinney standards and ensure top-quality care. You will dispense prescriptions, counsel patients, and perform QA steps to guarantee accuracy.

The role includes managing third-party claims, inventory control, and coordination with Kinney Warehouse and suppliers. You will uphold state/federal regulations, protect patient confidentiality, and help train staff while driving customer service excellence and adherence to corporate

Qualifications

  • Must possess and maintain a valid State License and current registration to practice Pharmacy.
  • Ability to stand/walk throughout majority of shift.
  • Certified Immunizer and ability to administer vaccines per state guidelines.
  • Pre-employment and/or random drug screening as required by policy.

Responsibilities

  • Dispense prescriptions and provide patient counseling following Kinney Standard of Practice.
  • Perform QA steps to ensure accurate prescriptions and report incidents promptly.
  • Oversee third party claims submissions, resubmissions and collections.
  • Manage pharmacy inventory for optimal turns while meeting customer needs.
  • Coordinate transmissions with Kinney Warehouse and suppliers; check for recalls.
  • Ensure records and files comply with state and federal regulations.
  • Utilize pharmacy technology to maximize ROI and lifespan of systems.
  • Maintain professional environment and strong customer service.
  • Support training of staff and ongoing Kinney Clerk/Technician programs.
  • Interface with auditors, compliance officers, and external agencies as needed.
  • Assist in meeting budgetary sales guidelines and operating within them.
  • Support marketing, advertising, and promotional programs.

Job Summary:Responsible for the implementation and adherence to the Kinney Standard of Practice as it relates to the provision of the highest quality health care service to our customersJob Duties:Follows the Kinney Standard of Practice to dispense prescriptions and counsel patientsPerforms all quality assurance steps to ensure a technically accurate prescription is dispensed. Reports dispensing incidents in a timely manner, in accordance with company guidelinesFollows all State and Federal guidelines governing the practice of PharmacyOversees the initial submission, resubmission and collection of all third party claimsManages and balances the pharmacy inventory to provide for maximum turns while still remaining in-stock for customer needs. Oversees the transmitting, processing and receiving of orders to and from the Kinney Warehouse and additional suppliers as neededOversees the checking of pharmacy inventory for outdates and processing of all returnsEnsures prescription files and other manual records are maintained in accordance with all state and federal guidelinesEnsures in-store pharmacy technology is being used to its fullest potential to allow for a maximum return on investment of the technology and life spanEnsure outstanding customer service is exhibited by all employees at all timesEnsure all loss Prevention policies are followed by all employees and report deviations from said policies to Loss PreventionAssist in the implementation of all corporate pharmacy marketing, advertising and promotional programs are fully executed and implementedOversees the maintenance of the pharmacy department to ensure a clean and professional environmentMaintains and develops professional relationships with doctors and others in the health service professionsMaintains an awareness of developments in the Pharmacy and Health Care Services fields that relate to job responsibilities and integrates them into own practiceMaintains confidentiality regarding all patient informationFacilitates communication between professional staff and pharmacy personnel.Assists in meeting or exceeding budgetary sales guidelines and operating the pharmacy within said guidelinesAssist in the training and development of all pharmacy department personnel, including use of the Kinney Pharmacy Clerk and Technician Training ProgramInterface with various auditors and outside agencies, as neededResponsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programsPerform other duties as assignedJob Requirements:Posses and maintain a valid State License and current registration to practice PharmacyAbility to stand/walk throughout majority of shiftSuccessful completion of a pre-employment and/or random drug screening testCertified ImmunizerEducation:Minimum: BS or Pharm D degree in Pharmacy
