Job summary

Olympic Medical Center in Port Angeles, WA is seeking a Pharmacist to dispense medications and I.V. solutions to patients in the hospital setting.

The role includes supervising Pharmacy Technicians and students, participating in clinical activities, and educating patients, staff, and the public.

A WA-registered Pharmacist is required; hospital experience preferred; weekend and holiday shift differentials apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy required.
• Minimum of one-year experience in hospital pharmacy field preferred including automated drug distribution, I.V. admixtures, clinical pharmacy methods/practice and information systems.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications and I.V. solutions to patients.
• Provide supervision and control of the work activities of Pharmacy Technicians and pharmacy students.
• Participate in ongoing clinical patient oriented activities and undertakes problem solving as appropriate.
• Provide information and education to patients, staff and public.

LICENSURE/CREDENTIALS

Registered Pharmacist license in State of Washington required.
