Job summary

Prime Therapeutics is seeking a Rebate Operations Pharmacist to provide clinical pharmacy support for the Rebate Operations team and clients. This role interprets Federal legislation changes and their impact on State Medicaid Drug Rebate programs, supporting Drug Utilization Reviews as required.

Responsibilities include acting as SME for rebate operations, gathering quarterly 64.9r reporting, assisting in invoicing and dispute resolution, monitoring CMS/MDP guidance, and partnering with Account

Qualifications

PharmD or Bachelor of Science Pharmacy degree.
Current Pharmacist license to practice in the applicable state(s).
1 year work experience in Pharmacy or Pharmacy Rebate Management.

Responsibilities

Act as SME for Rebate Operations team regarding accuracy and reasonableness of medical and pharmacy claims.
Support Rebate Operations and clients in gathering and completion of quarterly 64.9r reporting and ad hoc reporting; assist in pre-invoice claims reviews and invoicing.
Partner with team leadership on implementation decisions regarding Federal legislation changes, new reporting creation, and audits; track contractual requirements.
Monitor CMS and Medicaid Drug Program guidance for new changes and provide recommendations.
Partner with Account Management to support rebate trending discussions and serve as main point of contact for assigned clients.
Other duties as assigned.
