Job summary

Universal Health Services in Atlanta, GA seeks a licensed Pharmacist to dispense medications and counsel patients. The role works with other healthcare professionals to determine the best drug therapy and ensure accurate processing of orders in compliance with regulations.

The Pharmacist will monitor inventory levels, restock as needed, and provide clear medication information to physicians, nursing staff and patients, supporting safe, effective patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• PharmD or RPh license required

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Position Summary:

The Pharmacist dispenses drugs and advises patients about the medicines they have been prescribed.The Pharmacist works collaboratively with other health care professionals to determine the most appropriate drug treatment for patients.

Accurately and efficiently processes and distributes medication orders.

Dispenses medication in accordance with appropriate state and federal regulations.

Monitors Night Pharmacy inventory. Ensures proper levels of medications are stocked.

Re-stocks medications as needed.

Rounding on the units to deliver/pickup medications.

Provides medication information to Physicians, Nursing and Patients
