University Medical Center of El Paso (UMC) seeks a Pharmacist for our inpatient pharmacy to prepare and dispense medications, review orders, and provide drug information to care teams.
Applicants must hold a Texas pharmacist license or be eligible within six months and be a graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy, with 12 ACPE CE hours per year. The role also involves ensuring patient safety and collaborating with nurses and physicians across departments.
Prepares and dispenses medications to patients. Assesses the appropriateness of the physician''s medication orders. Provides accurate and appropriate drug information to health care professionals. Coordinates or performs functions detailed in the compounding and dispensing procedures. Provides care to patients of varying ages with age related needs.

No Previous Work Experience Required.
Current Pharmacy license in Texas, or ability to be licensed within 6 months if recent Pharmacy graduate.
Graduation from accredited School of Pharmacy, 12 hours of ACPE approved continuing education per year.
