Job summary

University Medical Center of El Paso is seeking a licensed pharmacist to dispense medications, assess the appropriateness of physician orders, and provide accurate drug information to health care professionals.

You will coordinate the compounding and dispensing procedures and deliver patient care across ages, supporting inpatient pharmacy operations and ensuring safe, effective medication use.

Qualifications

  • Pharmacist must be graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.
  • Current Texas pharmacy license or ability to obtain within 6 months after graduation.
  • 12 hours ACPE approved continuing education per year.

Required Experience
  • A. Work Experience:

    No previous work experience required.

  • B. License/Registration/Certification:

    Current Pharmacy license in Texas, or ability to be licensed within 6 months if recent Pharmacy graduate.

  • C. Education and Training:

    Graduation from accredited School of Pharmacy, 12 hours of ACPE approved continuing education per year.
