You will coordinate the compounding and dispensing procedures and deliver patient care across ages, supporting inpatient pharmacy operations and ensuring safe, effective medication use.
Prepares and dispenses medications to patients. Assesses the appropriateness of the physician''s medication orders. Provides accurate and appropriate drug information to health care professionals. Coordinates or performs functions detailed in the compounding and dispensing procedures. Provides care to patients of varying ages with age related needs.
No previous work experience required.
Current Pharmacy license in Texas, or ability to be licensed within 6 months if recent Pharmacy graduate.
Graduation from accredited School of Pharmacy, 12 hours of ACPE approved continuing education per year.
