Job summary

Baptist Health in Nassau - Yulee, FL is seeking a Pharmacist to join our central operations team. This PRN role covers day, evening, night and weekend shifts within the Central Pharmacy, IV room, and OR Satellite.

The pharmacist will check orders, supervise technicians, and consult with medical staff while gaining clinical experience. Required are a State of Florida Pharmacist license, DOH licensure, and a Bachelor of Science.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (or similar) required.
• Active Florida Pharmacist license required.
• In-Patient Hospital Pharmacy experience preferred; PGY1 residency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Entering orders with great accuracy.
• Checking technician work for accuracy prior to release of medications and solutions to the floor.
• Supervising technicians and serving on committees as assigned.
• Answering questions for all health care professionals.
• Serving as a consultant for members of the medical staff.
• Monitoring patient therapy as assigned, including pharmacokinetics services.

Baptist Health is currently looking for a Pharmacist to join our team at Baptist Nassau!
This is a PRN, various shift opportunity at our beautiful campus at Baptist Nassau in Yulee, Florida. This is a central operations role within the Central Pharmacy, IV room, and OR Satellite. The shift times would vary from day, evening, night and weekend shifts. This Pharmacist will be working in the central pharmacy checking patient orders, authorizations, and dispensing medications. This Pharmacist will be supervising technicians and consulting with other medical staff on medication and regimens. This is an opportunity to do hybrid functions within the central pharmacy and gain clinical experience.

As a Pharmacist, You Will Be Responsible For

• Entering orders with great accuracy.

Education & Credential Requirements

• Registered Pharmacist - State Board of Pharmacy Required
• Licensed Pharmacist - DOH Required
• Bachelor of Science Required

A Pharmacist license within the State of Florida is required. In-Patient Hospital Pharmacy Experience is preferred and PGY1 Residency is preferred.
This Pharmacist position will be located at Baptist Nassau.
