Job summary

Community Rehabilitation Hospital North in Indianapolis, IN, is seeking a Pharmacist to join our PRN team. The role involves verifying orders, monitoring medication management processes, and supervising Pharmacy Technicians to ensure safe, effective medication use.

Qualifications include a PharmD/BS in pharmacy, current Indiana license, and 2 years in hospital pharmacy preferred. Strong oral and written communication is essential for collaboration with clinicians and staff.

Qualifications

  • Must graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy.
  • BS Pharm or PharmD degree; accredited clinical residency preferred.
  • Must hold a current state license to practice pharmacy.
  • Two years' experience in hospital pharmacy is preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Monitors and evaluates the six critical processes of medication management; determines risk points and collaborates with physicians and clinical staff on quality/performance improvement.
  • Verifies and approves the work of Pharmacy Technician(s).
  • Responsible for the management and utilization of the computerized pharmacy system.
  • Orders and stores medications, keeping them safe and effective.

How you'll contribute
