Job summary

Shasta Regional Medical Center, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Pharmacist to coordinate the hospital's pharmacy department and deliver high-quality pharmaceutical care to diverse patient populations in Northern California.

Under the Director of Pharmacy, responsibilities include supporting various units from General Medicine to ICU and Emergency Services; the role requires current CA pharmacist license, hospital experience preferred, and BLS/ACLS certification.

Qualifications

• Current state Pharmacist license.
• Experience in hospital pharmacy operations preferred.
• B.S. degree in Pharmacy required; Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification preferred.
• APhA Immunization Certification and BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, coordinates the activities of the pharmacy department to provide the highest quality of pharmaceutical care to all patients served by the hospital, while ensuring patient safety.
• The scope of patient care provided may include: General Medicine/Surgical, Intensive Care Services, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Emergency Care, Oncology, Peri-operative, Geriatrics and Outpatient Services.

• APhA Immunization Certification and BLS required.

Pay Transparency

Shasta Regional Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $75.58 The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
