Job summary

Kettering Health Soin Medical Center in Beavercreek, OH, seeks an inpatient night‑shift pharmacist to join our pharmacy team. You will accurately process, fill, and dispense prescriptions and provide drug information to the care team.

Eligible candidates hold a PharmD or B.S. in Pharmacy, Ohio license, and at least two years of retail or hospital experience. Excellent communication skills and ability to supervise technicians are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of pharmacy with either a B.S. in Pharmacy or a PharmD
• Active State of Ohio pharmacist license
• Two years retail pharmacy experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

• Accurately process, fill, and dispense prescriptions
• Counsel patients and customers on prescription and OTC medication use
• Oversee pharmacy inventory, record keeping, and accounting
• Supervise pharmacy technicians; organize and direct technicians’ workflow
• Comply with state and federal drug laws and KHN policies
• Other duties as assigned

• Provide pharmaceutical information to multidisciplinary health care team; counsel patients and customers on both prescription and OTC medication use
• Oversee all pharmacy inventory, record keeping, and accounting
• Supervise pharmacy technicians; organize and direct technicians’ work flow
• Comply with state and federal drug laws, KHN policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned
