Job summary

Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA, is seeking a Pharmacist to perform duties in the hospital pharmacy related to dispensing and compounding of medication for patients across all ages. You will adhere to departmental policies and procedures.

Requirements include a BS/PharmD, Massachusetts license, excellent communication, age-appropriate care, and familiarity with pharmaceutical laws. Hospital experience preferred; USP 797/800 knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to provide pharmaceutical care for patients of all ages.
• Ability to interpret and assess clinical data for patient care.
• Must be computer literate and able to use pharmacy software.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical laws and guidelines.

Performs duties in the Hospital Pharmacy related to dispensing and compounding of medication

according to departmental policies and procedures for patients spanning all age groups and cultures.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience

• Excellent verbal/written skills.
• Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide pharmaceutical care for the age served patients.
• Demonstrates ability to interpret and assess clinical date necessary to provide care for the age of patients served.
• Must be computer literate.
• Must be familiar with pharmaceutical laws and guidelines.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience

• Hospital experience required.
• Knowledge of USP 797, 800 regulations and processes.
• Positive interpersonal communication skills.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor of Science/PharmD in Pharmacy from accredited school of pharmacy.

License/Certification

• Current license by Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy.

Salary Range: $54.31-$85.40

Salary Range Details

The pay range displayed on each job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set, and education. For annual salaries this is based on full-time employment.
