Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Tallahassee is seeking a Pharmacist to support drug distribution, IV admixture, and clinical pharmacy functions in a fast-paced hospital setting. The role emphasizes patient education at discharge and ongoing staff training within a per diem schedule.

Responsibilities

• Have working knowledge of drug distribution systems, central operations and IV admixture.
• Provide clinical support of the hospital pharmacy function in a fast paced environment.
• Maintain adequate drug supplies at the pharmacy at all times.
• Inform and instruct patients on drugs to be used after discharge.
• Develop and participate in new employee training and education programs.
• Participate in patient drug therapy monitoring.
• Promote an environment of continuous quality improvement.

Responsibilities
