Job summary

North Vista Hospital in North Las Vegas, NV, seeks a licensed Pharmacist for per diem shifts to support a wide range of patient care areas. You will work under the Director of Pharmacy to maintain high safety and quality standards in a dynamic hospital setting.

Requirements include a BS in Pharmacy or PharmD, active state license, and BLS/ACLS certification; hospital operations experience is preferred. Immunization certification is also valued.

Qualifications

• Current state Registered Pharmacist License.
• Experience in hospital pharmacy operations preferred.
• B.S. degree in Pharmacy required; Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification preferred.
• APhA Immunization Certification and BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, coordinates the activities of the pharmacy department to provide the highest quality of pharmaceutical care to all patients served by the hospital, while ensuring patient safety.
• The scope of patient care provided may include: General Medicine/Surgical, Intensive Care Services, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Emergency Care, Oncology, Peri-operative, Geriatrics and Outpatient Services.
