Job summary

ShopRite in Stanhope, NJ seeks a Pharmacist to accurately dispense medications and deliver attentive, knowledgeable service to customers. You will ensure compliance with state and federal drug laws, manage inventory, and support MTM and immunization initiatives.

This role emphasizes patient safety, collaboration with physicians, and adherence to ShopRite service priorities—Safety, Friendliness, Presentation and Efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Unrestricted Pharmacist license/registration in state employed.
• Graduate degrees required.
• Ability to read, write, speak English clearly.
• Proficient with pharmacy computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service with up-to-date information on prescriptions and health issues.
• Maintain current registration and pharmacology knowledge through ongoing education.
• Comply with all state and federal drug laws and HIPAA requirements.
• Manage pharmacy inventory in accordance with regulations and company policies.
• Ensure accuracy of insurance claims and proper handling of third-party billing.
• Dispense medications accurately and review physician orders for safety and efficacy.
• Support MTM cases, immunizations, and chronic disease management initiatives.
