Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacist to join our team in a patient‑focused role. You will provide expert-level pharmacy consulting, educate patients on medication usage and costs, and deliver immunizations and medication therapy management.

You will ensure safety through accurate dispensing and regulatory compliance while mentoring pharmacy staff, supporting a collaborative work culture, and contributing to high‑quality patient care across Walgreens stores.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited school.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willingness to become one within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting to patients.
• Educate patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical services including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative environment.
