Job summary

ShopRite of Orange in Orange, CT seeks a Pharmacist to deliver exceptional customer service while safely dispensing medications under prescription orders. The role emphasizes accuracy, patient education, and adherence to regulatory requirements.

You will maintain pharmacology knowledge through education, ensure compliance with drug laws, and participate in MTM and immunization programs where applicable.

Qualifications

• The minimum qualifications include an unrestricted state Pharmacist license/registration.
• Must possess applicable graduate degrees and be able to read, write, and understand English.
• Physical requirements include standing/walking up to 8 hours and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet Customers and provide courteous service with accurate prescription information.
• Maintain registration and pursue ongoing professional education and training.
• Comply with State/Federal drug laws, HIPAA, and regulatory agencies.
• Manage inventory in the Pharmacy per company policy and regulations.
• Prepare and dispense medications accurately following physician orders.
• Monitor drug therapies and advise on appropriate interventions.
