ShopRite of Somers Point seeks a Pharmacist to dispense prescriptions, provide expert customer service, and monitor patient therapies. You will ensure compliance with state and federal laws, maintain inventory, and support third-party relationships.

The role requires active Pharmacist licensure and a strong commitment to patient care, safety, and teamwork within a busy store environment.

Formación

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must possess current unrestricted state Pharmacist license, registration, immunization license or certification in state where employed.
• Must possess applicable graduate degrees.
• Must not be on any federal government exclusion lists (i.e. OIG, GSA).
• Ability to read, write, speak, type, analyze, interpret, and understand the English language.
• Ability to perform mathematical functions with measurements.
• Stand/walk for the duration of the shift (up to 8+ hours).
• Ability to fill prescriptions with finger/hand dexterity.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs, occasionally 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures.
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly way.
• Must use computer hardware and software.

Responsabilidades

• Greet customers and provide courteous service with up-to-date information on prescriptions and health issues.
• Maintain pharmacological knowledge by training and professional engagement.
• Comply with State and Federal drug laws and HIPAA.
• Manage Pharmacy inventory per policy and regulations.
• Ensure security of the Pharmacy Department.
• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently per regulations.
