Job summary
Walgreens is seeking a pharmacist to provide expert-level pharmacy consulting, educate patients on medications, and deliver immunizations and medication management to support patient care. Opportunities for leadership and development are offered within a large retail pharmacy network.
Qualified candidates hold a PharmD/BS in Pharmacy, current licensure, and immunizer certification or willingness to obtain it within 90 days.
Qualifications
- BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited institution.
- Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
- Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
- Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
- Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
- Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance.
- Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment.
