Fred Meyer, Inc. in Eugene, Oregon seeks a licensed pharmacist to join our retail pharmacy team.

You will fulfill prescription needs, provide patient counseling, administer vaccines when needed, and ensure HIPAA and all applicable laws are followed. Maintain accurate records, manage scheduled drugs, monitor inventory, and supervise the pharmacy team to deliver outstanding service and ensure a safe, clean environment.

Competenze

Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent required.
Current state pharmacist licensure in good standing required.
Ability to handle stressful situations.
Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction).
Effective oral and written communication skills.

Mansioni

Fulfill customers prescription needs with emphasis on accuracy.
Administer vaccines as needed.
Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care to customers.
Ensure pharmacies comply with local, state and federal laws (including HIPAA).
Maintain professional image and adhere to company dress standards.
Achieve knowledge of the trade area, customers and competition.
Create a positive pharmacy department image through service and cooperation with customers and vendors.
Monitor stock replenishment, inventory levels, records, security and scheduling per policy.
Maintain records for legal compliance and reports.
Maintain a clean, neat work area and professional image for customers.
Ensure timely handling of product returns and equipment maintenance.
Keep policy manuals and state laws organized and staff trained on use.
Post signage and promote pharmacist signs and names in all areas.
