Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customers’ prescription needs with high accuracy.
• Administer vaccines when needed.
• Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care.
• Ensure pharmacy compliance with laws (including HIPAA).
• Maintain professional image and adhere to dress standards.
• Know the trade area, customers and competition.
• Create a positive pharmacy image through service and cooperation.
• Monitor stock, inventory, records, security, scheduling, equipment operation, pricing, returns, and recalls.
• Maintain records for scheduled drugs and security.
• Follow procedures for sourcing pharmacy products.
• Use accuracy tools such as scanners and post-dispensing audits.
• Maintain proper signage in all areas.
• Keep up-to-date knowledge and skills in pharmacy.
• Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment.
• Manage conflicts constructively.
• Maintain honesty and integrity.
• Follow directions and seek help when needed.
• Assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
