Job summary

You will ensure HIPAA compliance, maintain a professional image, and manage stock, records, and equipment in a fast-paced pharmacy environment. Requirements include a PharmD or Bachelor's in Pharmacy, 1 year of retail experience, and strong math and communication skills, plus bilingual abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• 1 year of retail experience.
• Second language (speaking, reading, and/or writing).

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customers’ prescription needs with accurate dispensing.
• Administer vaccines as needed.
• Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and state/federal laws.
• Maintain professional image and adhere to dress standards.
• Develop knowledge of trade area and competition.
• Support positive department image through service and teamwork.
• Monitor stock, pricing, planning, and returns per policy.
• Secure schedules, inventories, and controlled substances records.
• Follow procedures for handling pharmacy products from sources.
• Use accuracy tools and post-dispensing audits appropriately.
• Maintain and organize policy manuals and state regulations.
• Keep work area clean and professional for customers.
• Ensure proper signage and staff knowledge of procedures.
• Continue personal knowledge and pharmacy skills growth.
• Work cooperatively in high paced or stressful environments.
• Handle conflicts calmly and constructively.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding information.
• Follow directions and seek help to resolve issues.
