Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy required.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• 1 year of retail experience.
• Second language (speaking, reading, and/or writing).

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customers’ prescription needs with a focus on accuracy.
• Administer vaccines as needed.
• Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care to customers.
• Ensure pharmacies comply with local, state and federal laws (including HIPAA).
• Maintain professional image and adhere to pharmacy standards.
• Achieve knowledge of the trade area and competition.
• Create a positive image through service and cooperation with customers and vendors.
• Monitor stock replenishment, inventory levels, and policy adherence.
• Maintain records and security for all scheduled drugs.
• Follow procedures for handling pharmacy products from sources.
• Ensure accuracy tools and post-dispensing audits are used.
• Maintain record-keeping practices for legal compliance.
• Keep a clean, professional work area.
• Handle product returns per policy.
• Maintain equipment and verify staff training.
• Ensure signage is current and accurate.
• Broaden personal pharmacy knowledge and skills.
• Ability to work in a high-paced environment and manage conflicts.
• Follow directions and assist with customer issues.
• Provide support for minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Perform essential job functions with or without accommodation.
