Job summary

Kroger Fred Meyer in Grants Pass, OR seeks a pharmacist to deliver outstanding patient care. You’ll fulfill prescription needs with accuracy, administer vaccines, counsel patients, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and all laws.

You will maintain a professional image, manage inventory and scheduling, and collaborate with associates to provide friendly, efficient service. A PharmD degree and Pharmacy Board license are required; second language a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy
• Knowledge of basic math
• Ability to handle stressful situations
• 1 year of retail experience
• Second language

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customers’ prescription needs with accuracy
• Administer vaccines as needed
• Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care
• Ensure compliance with all laws including HIPAA
• Maintain professional image and pharmacy standards
• Develop knowledge of the trade area and competition
• Create a positive pharmacy department image with customers and vendors
• Monitor inventory, record keeping, security and scheduling
• Maintain records for legal compliance and reporting
• Operate and maintain pharmacy equipment and signage
• Ensure proper handling of scheduled drugs
• Follow procedures for sourcing and quality control of products
• Support staff and maintain a clean, organized workspace
• Assist with policy manuals and reference materials
• Ensure all staff are trained on equipment use
• Display signs and information clearly
• Advance personal knowledge and pharmacy skills
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment
• Handle conflicts professionally
• Protect customer and business information
