Job summary

The Kroger Co. is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join our Idaho pharmacy team. You will fulfill prescription needs with precision, administer vaccines as needed, and provide patient counseling while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and all relevant laws.

Qualifications

Pharmacist with valid state license
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to handle high-stress situations
Knowledge of basic math and dose calculations

Responsibilities

Fulfill customers’ prescription needs while concentrating on accuracy
Administer vaccines as needed
Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all local, state and federal laws
Maintain a professional image and adherence to pharmacy standards
Manage inventory, records and equipment per company policy
Monitor stock replenishment and ensure proper scheduling and staffing of pharmacy staff
Maintain and secure records for scheduled drugs and controlled substances
Follow procedures for handling pharmacy products from approved sources
Maintain signages and patient-facing information in the store
