Job summary

Kroger is seeking a pharmacist to provide exceptional customer service in a retail pharmacy setting. You will fulfill prescription needs with high accuracy, administer vaccines, counsel customers, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and all laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy is required.
• Current state pharmacist licensure in good standing is required.
• Effective oral and written communication skills are essential.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction) is required.
• Ability to handle stressful situations is required.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customers' prescription needs while concentrating on accuracy.
• Administer vaccines as needed.
• Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care to customers.
• Ensure pharmacies comply with all local, state and federal laws (including HIPAA).
• Maintain proper records, inventory and security on all scheduled drugs (i.e., controlled substances).
• Monitor stock replenishment, inventory levels, planograms, budgets, and reports to management.
