Job summary
Kroger in Wisconsin is seeking a pharmacist to deliver patient-centered care in a busy community pharmacy. You will fulfill prescription needs with accuracy, administer vaccines, and provide pharmaceutical counseling while complying with all laws.
Maintain HIPAA compliance, manage inventory and records, monitor equipment and cleanliness, and uphold a professional image with customers and staff. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and current state licensure; retail experience and bilingual
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in pharmacy
- Current state pharmacist licensure in good standing
- Ability to handle stressful situations
- Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction)
- Effective oral/written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Fulfill customers' prescription needs with emphasis on accuracy
- Administer vaccines as needed
- Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care
- Ensure pharmacies comply with laws including HIPAA
- Maintain professional image and store standards
- Monitor inventory, records, and scheduling per policy
- Maintain records for regulatory compliance
- Keep pharmacy equipment and work area clean and organized
- Manage stock, pricing, and returns per policy
- Maintain and verify controlled substances records
