Job summary

Smith's Food and Drug in Logan, UT is seeking a licensed pharmacist to provide professional pharmacy services, fill prescriptions and counsel patients on medications. You will supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure adherence to professional standards, statutes and HIPAA compliance.

The role requires a valid Board of Pharmacy license and APhA Immunization Certification, with strong customer service and teamwork. On-site position with opportunities to support multiple locations as needed.

Qualifications

Board of Pharmacy license is required to practice in the state.
Immunization certification is preferred and beneficial.
Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

Provide professional pharmacy services, fill prescriptions and counsel patients.
Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure accuracy of data entry.
Adhere to HIPAA, health codes and company policies.
Interpret prescriptions and communicate with prescribers when needed.
Maintain inventory, comply with licensing requirements and safety rules.
