Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy required.
• Active pharmacist license in good standing.
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Strong math skills and numerical accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customers' prescription needs with accuracy.
• Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care.
• Ensure compliance with all laws including HIPAA.
• Maintain a professional image through appearance and conduct.
• Gain knowledge of trade area, customers and competition.
• Create a positive pharmacy image through service and cooperation.
• Monitor stock, inventory, procedures, and records per policy.
• Maintain records and security on controlled substances.
• Follow procedures for handling pharmacy products from sources.
• Use accuracy tools and post-dispensing audits appropriately.
• Maintain all required record-keeping practices for legal compliance.
• Keep work area clean and organized, signage up to date.
• Ensure returns are handled per policy and equipment is maintained.
• Update policy manuals and staff training materials as needed.
• Broaden pharmacy knowledge and skills continuously.
