Job summary
Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacist to provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients, educate on medication usage, and deliver immunizations and medication therapy management. You’ll ensure medication safety through precise dispensing, regulatory compliance, and mentoring pharmacy team members in a collaborative environment.
A BS in Pharmacy and current pharmacist licensure are required, with immunizer certification or willingness within 90 days.
Qualifications
- BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited institution.
- Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
- Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
- Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
- Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
- Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance.
- Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment.
