Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a Pharmacist to provide expert pharmacy consulting to patients, including education on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.

You will deliver immunizations and medication therapy management, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and mentor staff in a collaborative setting. Qualified candidates hold a BS in Pharmacy, current licensure in the district, and immunizer certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical services including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative environment.
