Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy required.
• Current pharmacist license in good standing.
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Knowledge of basic math.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• 1 year of retail experience preferred.
• Second language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customers' prescription needs with emphasis on accuracy.
• Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care to customers.
• Ensure pharmacies comply with local, state and federal laws including HIPAA.
• Maintain professional image and adhere to company standards.
• Develop knowledge of the trade area, customers and competition.
• Create a positive pharmacy department image through service and cooperation.
• Monitor stock replenishment, inventory, and record-keeping per policy.
• Maintain records and security on scheduled drugs and controlled substances.
• Follow procedures for handling pharmacy products from approved sources.
• Utilize accuracy tools and post-dispensing audits as required.
• Maintain and organize policy manuals and required equipment; train staff.
