Job summary

Kroger in Cedartown, GA is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join our customer-first pharmacy team. You will counsel patients, fill prescriptions accurately, ensure HIPAA and all laws compliance, and maintain a safe, clean environment while delivering exceptional service.

You’ll help manage stock, audits, scheduling, and department operations in a fast-paced retail setting, while upholding standards of professionalism and customer care.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist licensure in good standing in Georgia.
• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (PharmD acceptable).
• Ability to work under pressure with accuracy and composure.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and pharmacy regulations.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions accurately with focus on precision.
• Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal laws (HIPAA).
• Maintain professional image and adhere to dress standards.
• Gain knowledge of the trade area and competition.
• Create a positive department image through service and cooperation.
• Monitor stock replenishment, inventory, pricing, recalls and reports.
• Maintain records and security for scheduled drugs.
• Follow procedures for handling pharmacy products from approved sources.
• Utilize accuracy tools and post-dispensing audits appropriately.
• Maintain all record-keeping practices for legal compliance.
• Keep a clean, organized work area and storefront presentation.
• Ensure timely handling of returns per policy.
• Maintain equipment and staff knowledge of use.
• Post signage and maintain an orderly ambience.
• Broaden personal knowledge and pharmacy skills.
• Able to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation.
