Job summary

GRX Holdings, LLC dba Medicap Pharmacy in Audubon, IA is seeking an efficient, flexible Pharmacist to join our team. Under indirect supervision, you will fill prescriptions, counsel patients, supervise Technicians, and ensure services comply with professional standards.

You will interpret prescriptions, check interactions, counsel patients, manage inventory, ensure proper billing, and uphold state laws. A PharmD or Bachelor’s in Pharmacy with 1–2 years experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted pharmacy license in the state.
• 1–2 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions, counsel patients, supervise Pharmacy Technicians and ensure compliance with standards and laws.
• Interpret prescriptions, check interactions and allergies, enter data and guide Technicians.
• Counsel patients, provide medication guidance, and coordinate with other health care professionals.
• Review inventory, place orders, maintain appropriate stock and billing compliance.
• Maintain license, records, and daily/weekly reports; ensure security and loss prevention.
