Job summary

Hy-Vee, Inc. is seeking a Registered Pharmacist to provide prompt and friendly customer service while accurately filling and verifying prescriptions and counseling patients in accordance with state and federal regulations.

The role includes assisting with pharmacy inventory, overseeing controlled substances, and supporting MTM programs. Must hold a pharmacy degree and active licensure; immunization administration is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have a college degree and licensure in pharmacy.
• Continuing education to maintain license required.
• Six months to a year of similar or related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service.
• Fills and/or verifies prescriptions and counsels patients.
• Assists with inventory, including controlled substances, annually.
• Maintains HIPAA-compliant handling of patient information.
• Manages third-party accounts reconciliation and balancing.
• Markets pharmacy services to schools, doctors, and community partners.
