Job summary

Stop & Shop in Setauket, NY, is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team at 158 Route 25a location. You will ensure accurate prescription processing, provide exceptional patient counseling, and support immunization services.

You will act as a liaison with healthcare professionals and community partners, oversee daily operations, drive sales growth, and help maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree from an accredited school.
• Current license to practice in the relevant state.
• Immunizing pharmacist certification is required.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Criminal background check and drug testing completed.
• Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy laws.

Responsibilities

• Process prescriptions accurately or supervise others in the process.
• Provide customer service and patient counseling for prescriptions and OTC meds.
• Act as liaison between store, healthcare professionals, patients and law enforcement.
• Comply with state and Federal pharmacy laws and company standards.
• Oversee daily operations of the pharmacy department.
• Promote growth of the pharmacy business and community relationships.
• Perform immunizations as required by company standards.
