Job summary

The Kroger Co. is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join our team in Illinois. You will provide exceptional customer service in a safe, clean environment and administer immunizations in accordance with Kroger standing orders, while ensuring accuracy and compliance with laws and company policies.

You will review prescriptions, dispense medications, and supervise pharmacy staff to maintain high standards of patient safety and care. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Pharmacist in good standing.
• Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills.
• Excellent Planning and Organizational skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy is a must.
• Self-motivated with Strong Initiative to achieve high standards/results.

Responsibilities

• Commitment to providing customer service that makes both internal and external customers feel welcome, important and appreciated.
• Professional demeanor, positive attitude, and clear communication in the presence of customers or on social media.
• Administer immunizations to customers following Kroger standing orders and procedures.
• Complete clinical services according to relevant case load.
• Dispense medications to customers pursuant to prescriptions and, following laws, regulations, policies and procedures, and ethical standards.
• Review prescriptions issued by prescribers to assure accuracy and determine formulas and ingredients needed.
