Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to support distribution center hardware and automation. The role requires 2+ years in maintenance within office, distribution, or manufacturing settings, with PLC and power knowledge.

You will perform preventive maintenance and work with CMMS tools to keep equipment running smoothly. The position offers a full-time schedule, on-site work, and competitive hourly pay between $25 and $36.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree is required.
• 2+ years of maintenance experience in offices, US military, distribution or manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of industrial power including single-phase and three-phase power, motors, protective devices or photo sensors.
• Experience with PLCs wiring and PLC programming.
• Experience with hardware like sensors, PLCs, remote I/O and servo drives.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on distribution center hardware and related equipment.
• Use CMMS-based preventive maintenance worksheets to track hardware and gear per manufacturer guidelines and best practices.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Specialist to perform lubrication, repairs, and predictive maintenance on advanced automated equipment.
• Maintain a safe workplace by reporting and addressing potential safety issues related to handling equipment or the distribution center.
