Job summary

Qualifications

Job description

Position Overview

Join our healthcare team as a Pharmacist in our outpatient Community Pharmacy located in northwest Arizona. This full-time role involves dispensing prescriptions, monitoring patient medication therapies, counseling patients, providing drug information, and supervising support personnel in a 340B outpatient pharmacy.

Position Purpose

You will provide exceptional pharmaceutical care, ensuring safe and effective use of medications, maximizing access to affordable treatments, and complying with all applicable regulations and standards.

Responsibilities
  • Dispense prescription medication orders and perform compounding as needed.
  • Monitor patient drug therapy and provide counseling and drug information.
  • Document interventions and maintain accurate records.
  • Supervise pharmacy support staff.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.
  • Licensed to practice in the State of Arizona.
Work Requirements
  • Must be able to distinguish color.
  • Work 37% sitting, 30% standing, 33% walking.
  • Carry or lift 25-75 pounds.
  • Potential exposure to blood, body fluids, chemicals, biological, and radioactive substances.
