Job summary

Northside Hospital in Georgia is seeking a pharmacist to join our clinical team. You will provide pharmaceutical services, advise on drug interactions, support nurses and physicians, and ensure safe, effective therapy for diverse patient populations.

Preferred: graduation from an accredited School of Pharmacy, hospital or retail experience, and strong communication skills. This on-site position offers collaborative care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

  • Provide pharmaceutical services, including drug information to nurses and physicians.
  • Advise on drug interactions, contraindications and other relevant information to ensure safe, effective drug therapy.
  • Serve a diverse patient population including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.

As part of the health care team, practices Pharmacy as a knowledge-based clinical profession, and integrates patient-oriented services with traditional distributive and drug control activities. Provides pharmaceutical services including drug information to nurses, physicians, and other health care providers. Advises the same with respect to drug interactions, contraindications and other relevant information to ensure optimal and safe drug therapy. Serves all patients to include, but not limited to, neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.

  1. Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.
Preferred:
  1. One (1) year of previous hospital pharmacy experience.
  2. Experience in Retail Pharmacy practice.
  3. Good communication skills.
