Job summary

MUSC Health in Charleston, SC seeks a licensed pharmacist to compound and dispense prescribed drugs in a hospital setting. You will consult with medical staff on drug interactions and patient history, advise patients on medications and dosages, and ensure accurate pharmacy data is recorded in line with regulatory and hospital procedures.

The position requires a Doctor of Pharmacy or a PharmD (Bachelor's in pharmacy acceptable), SC licensure, and current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist by the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers is required.
• Minimum training and education: Doctor of Pharmacy or a Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy; residency preferred.
