Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a licensed pharmacist to compound and dispense prescribed drugs in a hospital setting.

You will consult with medical staff on drug interactions and patient history, answer patient questions about medications and dosage, and ensure accurate pharmacy data recording in compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy.
  • Pharmacy residency preferred.
  • Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist by the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy.
  • Current AHA BLS or Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers is required.

Additional Job Description

Minimum Training and Education: Doctor of Pharmacy or a Bachelor's degree in pharmacy. Completion of a pharmacy residency preferred.

Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations: Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist by the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required
