Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a pharmacy professional to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical services and drug information to clinicians to support safe patient care. The role involves advising on interactions and contraindications to optimize therapy for diverse patient populations across neonates to geriatrics.

The ideal candidate will have pharmacy degree from an accredited school and at least one year of hospital pharmacy experience, with preferred retail experience and strong communication

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.
• One year of hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Experience in Retail Pharmacy practice preferred.
• Good communication skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides pharmaceutical services including drug information to nurses, physicians, and other health care providers to ensure optimal and safe drug therapy.
• Advises on drug interactions, contraindications and relevant information to ensure patient safety.
• Serves patients across all age groups including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.
