Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England seeks Pharmacist Manager, Oncology & Infusion Pharmacy Services to lead operations, clinical programs, and strategic initiatives across oncology and infusion pharmacy services.

This leadership role provides oversight of pharmacy staff and resources, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and executives to improve quality, safety, outcomes, and financial performance while advancing patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of pharmacist experience, with at least three years in leadership.
• Oncology/infusion leadership experience preferred.
• Active pharmacist license and ability to obtain CT license within 120 days.
• Strong financial, analytical, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Knowledge of oncology pharmacy practice and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily regional operations of oncology and infusion pharmacy services, ensuring safe, effective, and compliant medication management.
• Develop and implement strategic initiatives, new programs, service line growth opportunities, and process improvement efforts.
• Manage departmental budgets, resource allocation, productivity metrics, and KPIs.
• Promote medication safety, clinical quality, regulatory compliance, and continuous performance improvement.
• Serve as the pharmacy subject matter expert for oncology and infusion services, supporting evidence-based medication use and clinical best practices.
• Oversee 340B program compliance, managed care utilization strategies, revenue integrity initiatives, and cost-containment efforts.
• Pharmacist and pharmacy staff recruitment, hiring, onboarding, coaching, competency assessment, and performance management.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, and executive stakeholders to align operational and clinical priorities.
• Manage pharmacy procurement, inventory, contract compliance, medication distribution, compounding, and investigational drug activities.
• Support educational programs, staff development, clinical initiatives, and interdisciplinary patient care activities.
